Columbia
Sanitary History
Columbine
Sanitary Service was started
in 1959 by Harvey Seipp,
to pump septic tanks for
homeowners and businesses.
Harvey changed the name to
Columbia Sanitary after
comments from his customersabout
naming a stinky business
after the state flower.
We
acquired the business
from the Seipp family
Aug 1, 1998. The business
grew from 1 truck to 4
trucks. We take care
of septic tanks for homeowners
and waste treatment plants.
We monitor and repair,
advanced treatment systems,
work on leach fields and
other services.
Our
growth to four times the
size
from our purchase is
due to, running the business
like that each customer
is still our most important.
Our
commitment to great
customer service also
applies to our
Portable toilet business.
From
one toilet for a block
party or a wedding
to an event,
or,construction jobs
large or small we
absolutely give the
best customer service,
and "
we have the
best smelling toilets” We
hear it all the time.
Our
commitment to you, the
customer,
in turn
results in more
growth, by referrals.
In 2007, we brought
the hauling of the
waste in house and
started Gator Gro. It
is
our own land application
business of liquid waste.
Gator Gro is the
answer to responsible
land
application of liquid
waste.
